Running Camp: boys and girls ages 14 to 18. Week 6: August 3 through 8. The Fundamentals of Distance Running. Over the course of the week, knowledgeable coaches, fitness instructors and health experts will address the following topics: Race preparation and strategies, Nutrition, Preparing to run in college, Strength training for runners, Goal Setting, Choosing the proper footwear, Flexibility, Types of workouts for distance runners, The psychological aspects of training.
